Why Aren’t We Allowed To Talk About George Soros’s Plan To Remake America? Robby Starbuck, The Federalist

CS Commentary: Fox News has a long history now – beginning with Megyn Kelly, or before – of hosts presenting themselves as ‘conservative’ who are actually more pc, or elitist. Fox News was built by Roger Ailes, a conservative, but the owners of Fox are not conservative – Rupert Murdock and his sons are cocktail party elites. Even Francis and Faulkner are questionable in their views and values – Marie Harf is a staunch Obama administration hack. Evaluate those and other hosts and commentators on Fox News and Fox Business accordingly.

Bill Burr’s Controversial ‘Saturday Night Live’ Monologue Draws Mixed Reviews, Lexy Perez, The Hollywood Reporter

Warrior Nun, Official Netflix Trailer, Netflix

CS Commentary: This series is not perfect, from a story structure standpoint or from a theological standpoint, but it is still an interesting story. Ava, a quadriplegic is raised from the dead and healed when an Angel’s halo is ‘accidentally’ implanted in her back. Now obligated to join a pack of warrior nuns fighting spiritual darkness and evil – not to mention Catholic and corporate conspiracies – she becomes something like the prophet, Jonah, running from her destiny. But how does someone with supernatural sight and powers run from fighting evil? Its an impossibility, but she tries. The story is a little slow-moving and challenged at times, but it’s part Frank Perreti’s This Present Darkness and part Charlie’s Angels and part coming-of-age romance, and it has enough twist and turns not to be boring – and to be more insightful and prescient than it knows. Portuguese-Brazilian Alba Baptista, in the lead role, is a budding international star – expect to see a lot more of her in the future. CS Grade: A-
